CIKARANG, Indonesia, September 24, 2025 – PT Surya Sarana Dinamika (SSD) organized the “Certified Hands-On Training Universal Robots for Educators” program at the PIDI SSD Robotics-IoT Center, Lippo Cikarang. This intensive training invited representatives from the Faculty of Computer Science, UPN Veteran Jakarta, to strengthen their competence in programming and operating Universal Robots (UR) industrial robots of international standards.

As an Authorized Training Center of Universal Robots, SSD is committed to bridging the gap between education and industry. The goal is to equip educators with up-to-date expertise, enabling them to incorporate Industry 4.0–based curricula that align with global job market demands.

Collaboration between academia and industry is key to developing competitive digital talent. Through this training, the program not only transfers technical knowledge but also empowers educators to bring industry best practices directly into the classroom.

Participants gained both theoretical and hands-on experience through comprehensive practical sessions. Some of the key activities included:

• Direct Programming: Hands-on exercises in hand-guiding and programming using the graphical drag-and-drop interface on the UR robot unit.
• Real System Simulation: Exploration of advanced safety features such as force sensors and collision detection, along with simulation of thread and multitasking programming.
• System Integration: Testing I/O and fieldbus integration into simulated automation systems on the practice floor.

Upon completion, all participants received an official international certificate from Universal Robots. This recognition not only enhances individual capabilities but also strengthens the credibility of educational institutions in delivering globally standardized robotics training.
