SSD Conducts Robotics and IoT Training to Enhance Teachers' Skills for SMK Educators
CIMAHI, WEST JAVA, AUGUST 22, 2025 – PT. Surya Sarana Dinamika (SSD) conducted a working visit to the Center for Vocational Education Quality Assurance Development, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Field (BBPPMPV BMTI) in Cimahi on Friday, August 22, 2025. The main purpose of this visit was to explore and design a strategic collaboration program aimed at enhancing the competencies of vocational high school (SMK) teachers in the fields of Robotics and Internet of Things (IoT).
This visit marks a concrete step toward strengthening synergy between industry and vocational education. The goal is to ensure that curricula and training provided to SMK teachers and students remain aligned with the latest industrial technology needs and advancements.
During the meeting, both parties discussed concrete plans for training programs to be held at the PIDI SSD Robotics-IoT Center. The planned initiatives include not only technical training in robotics and IoT for SMK teachers but also instructor training (train-the-trainer) programs to create a multiplier effect and ensure program sustainability.
The BBPPMPV BMTI Cimahi delegation consisted of field experts, including:

●Mr. Heri Cahyadi Setiawan, S.ST., M.T. (Vocational Expert in Electronics and Informatics)
●Mr. Didi Kurniadi, M.Pd. (Vocational Expert in Electrical Engineering)
●Ms. Bernadeta Ayuning Tyas Ajeng Satiti, S.Psi. (Member of the Competency Enhancement and Cooperation Task Team)
“This collaboration is not merely about transferring knowledge—it is an investment in building a stronger, more relevant, and globally competitive future for Indonesian vocational education. By directly aligning with industry practitioners, we aim to cultivate a new generation of SMK teachers and students ready to meet the challenges of the digital era,” said a representative from PT. Surya Sarana Dinamika.
Both institutions are committed to taking immediate follow-up actions to implement the discussed programs, with the goal of launching them in the near future.
BBPPMPV BMTI Cimahi is a Technical Implementation Unit under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, responsible for ensuring vocational education quality—particularly in the fields of electronics, informatics, and electrical engineering—through workforce development, curriculum innovation, and infrastructure improvement.
